Severe drought not just impacts the crop yield but also the very survival of the farmers and their families. In order to keep their morale up and to help them through the present adversity, Terna Public Charitable Trust organized a special workshop to train social workers and volunteers to counsel the farmers. Representatives of Asha Workers in Osmanabad and also other organizations participated. Psychiatrists Dr. Vinay Barhale and Dr. Vinayak Kulkarni from Aurangabad guided the participants. The workshop was inaugurated by Chairman of the Trust Dr. Padmasingh Patil in the august presence of Hon. Jagjitsingh Patil, District Surgeon Dr. Maley and Chairman for the State for the Nationalist Congress Doctors’ Cell, Dr. Narendra Kale.
